they're a bit wonky!

got up early. baked. hmm...not quite right! :)

a sponge failure

right from the beginning i suspected it was going to flop!

no matter what i did the egg whites were not obeying my commands!

 

i used my trusty sponge recipe, but substituted plain flour for cocoa powder.

alas, if only the egg whites had performed to their full capacity!

 'thrust the transformer' was no help! if only i had been able to call on 'optomus prime' for assistance...
